    A very different and unsuspecting novella by Deborah McClatchey for the YA audience, yet it keeps with her other work which is written for an older audience A great read and one that I unashamedly recommend DISCLAIMER I received a free digital copy of this book in exchange for a review.

    Deborah McClatchey has created a wonderful tale in this intriguing book Evil In Disguise that I found absolutely amazing The book was recommended to me and I thought it was a fascinating short novel Two small children Charlie Peters and his best friend Marlin visit a pet shop and they are attracted to a turtle that turns out to be not an ordinary pet but something totally unexpected The story becomes very complicated when Victor the well known bully of their town steals the turtle and a ser Deborah McClatchey has created a wonderful tale in this intriguing book Evil In Disguise that I found absolutely amazing The book was recommended to me and I thought it was a fascinating short novel Two small children Charlie Peters and his best friend Marlin visit a pet shop and they are attracted to a turtle that turns out to be not an ordinary pet but something totally unexpected The story becomes very complicated when Victor the well known bully of their town steals the turtle and a series of unexpected killings and trouble begins The story becomes very intriguing when you find out that there is a captivating story behind the turtle I would recommend the book to any reader that likes to spend time with a very interesting book

    What an interesting and unique story I came across some positive comments on this book and decided to check it out I wasn t disappointed it was a quick and interesting tale about two little kids, Charlie and Marlin, who visit a pet shop and find this weird looking turtle a demon in disguise When the town bully steals the turtle in order to create problems, he getsthan he bargained for by starting a chain of terrible events

    A clever tale of a terrorist turtle and the kids who search to stop him The cover of this book pulled me in and once I started it, McClatchey s writing kept me hooked until the end An imaginative story with well drawn characters, unexpected twists, and a rather adorably evil villain Highly recommend

    This is definitely a one of a kind book This was recommended by a friend and I honestly did not know what to expect so it was bit of a surprise for me nonetheless, I did enjoy reading this book and recommend it.

    A well written and entertaining short read that will I think appeal to young teenage boys in particular, who from my own sons experiences seem to love anything to do with evil
